2024 Bison Sale

The Konza Prairie Biological Station will hold its annual bison roundup near the end of October. Animals will be sold in lots of 1-year-old males, 1-year-old females, 2-year-old females, adult cows of various ages, and adult bulls of various ages. Tag number, age, and weight will be provided for each animal. Weights will be taken on our scale (TruTest EW7, 5lb increments, certified by WH Scale Co. on 4 October 2024) at the time of our roundup. Successful buyer takes all of the group. Our goal is to sell all at a fair price.

Buyer is responsible for picking up animals at our facility as soon as possible after sale. Load out 8-5, M-F unless other arrangements are made. All animals appear to be in good health and are available for viewing in our corrals. All animals will be tested for Brucellosis and cows will be preg checked by Shelie Laflin, DVM. Papers will be provided.

Bids will be accepted via email, fax, or phone.
